What is Measured
Load? USE THIS OPTION ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACTUALLY MEASURED THE LOAD OF THE EQUIPMENT YOU ARE CONNECTING. IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS, USE RATED LOAD!
The amount of power that a piece of
equipment actually draws is known as its measured load as determined by a TRUE Wattmeter (for Watts) or Ampmeter connected to the DC output of the equipment (for Amps and VA).
To obtain the most accurate sizing information, you should only use the measured load option button when entering the
actual load. This option will provide you with a list of UPS products and backup runtimes based on exactly what is entered.
Keep
in mind that the recommended UPSs and their corresponding backup times are estimates based upon our available information. Actual backup times may be affected by system
configuration, battery condition, and load.
